All throughout her life, Lauren has enjoyed painting. She branched out into watercolors in 2012, and has found them to be the best medium to articulate her artistic vision. Common themes found in the artwork include the artist's own experiences, as well as her spiritual journey.
Today, Lauren enjoys gifting her artwork even more than selling it. She donates on a average of 1-3 paintings every couple of months to nonprofits and ministries. To Lauren, art is meant to be shared and seen by those who need it the most.
Lauren lives in Fort Collins, CO with husband Jordan, daughter Ivy, and son Calvin. Together they enjoy playing outside, cooking, and traveling.

Inspiration
The dichotomy between the strength and frailty of life inspires Lauren daily. The concept of figures "appearing and disappearing" also play a role the artwork. Spiritual metaphors are often subtly hidden between the brush strokes.
Techniques
Watercolors, gouache paints, and inks can be seen tracing up and down Lauren's artwork. Utilizing the freeform nature of watercolor, the pieces merge between vibrant colors and lightly colored hues.
