Suppling A Busy World with Peaceful Images
As a Self-taught artist, Lauren branched out into watercolor without any guidance or instruction. Relying on artistic intuition she composed, practiced and sold her artwork.
Today, Lauren enjoys gifting her artwork even more than selling it. She donates on a average of 1-3 paintings every couple of months to nonprofits and ministries. To Lauren, art is meant to be shared and seen by those who need it the most.
Lauren lives in Fort Collins, CO with her husband Jordan and daughter Ivy. They enjoy cooking, hiking, and traveling together.
Her art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
The dichotomy between the strength and frailty of life inspires Lauren daily. The concept of figures "appearing and disappearing" also play a role the artwork. Spiritual metaphors are often subtly hidden between the brush strokes.
Watercolors, gouache paints, and inks can be seen tracing up and down Lauren's artwork. Utilizing the freeform nature of watercolor, the pieces merge between vibrant colors and lightly colored hues.
Lauren's home base can be found in Fort Collins, CO, USA where art is celebrated and encouraged. She participates in local art shows, but her proudest achievements are donating artwork to charities and ministries.
